Publication Ethics

Proceeding of International Conference on Economic, Management, Business, and Accountancy (ICONEMBA) is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in publishing. All parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—must adhere to the following ethical guidelines:

For Authors

  1. Originality and Plagiarism:
    • Authors must ensure their work is original and properly cite all sources. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.
  2. Authorship:
    • All authors listed should have made significant contributions to the research. Ghostwriting and honorary authorship are prohibited.
  3. Data Accuracy:
    • Authors must provide accurate data and ensure the integrity of their findings. Fabrication or falsification of data is strictly prohibited.
  4. Disclosure:
    • Authors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest and funding sources.

For Reviewers

  1. Confidentiality:
    • Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential documents and not disclose any information to unauthorized parties.
  2. Objectivity:
    • Reviews must be conducted impartially, providing constructive feedback without bias or personal criticism.
  3. Conflict of Interest:
    • Reviewers should decline reviews if they have conflicts of interest with the authors or the content of the manuscript.

For Editors

  1. Fairness:
    • Editors evaluate manuscripts based on academic merit, without regard to race, gender, religion, or political beliefs of the authors.
  2. Confidentiality:
    • Editors must ensure the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and avoid disclosing any details before publication.
  3. Decision Making:
    • Publication decisions are based on the importance, originality, and quality of the manuscript, supported by peer review.

For Publishers

  1. Integrity:
    • ICONEMBA ensures that the publication process upholds academic integrity and ethical standards.
  2. Corrections and Retractions:
    • If ethical concerns arise, ICONEMBA will issue corrections, retractions, or other necessary statements.

By adhering to these ethical principles, ICONEMBA aims to foster trust, accountability, and excellence in academic publishing.
